iCom – TVLink

Wireless Communication interface and TVLink

iCom connects wirelessly to telephones, MP3 players, FM, computers and more. The hearing systems functions as a wireless headset allowing the benefit of hands-free functionality. Multi-point technology allows the use of two phones in parallel. With Phonak TVLink, it is easy to connect the hearing system to the TV via Bluetooth. SmartLink SX

Integrated Bluetooth technology in SmartLink enables a bi-directional digital link between the wearers’ hearing instruments and their Bluetooth mobile phones.

In addition, any external audio input or external microphone signal can be transmitted wirelessly via SmartLink to the hearing instrument, simply by attaching to the smart interface.

The remote control enables discrete control of all the hearing instrument’s functions – from program selection and volume control to full FM-control.

Wireless communication systems (FM systems) can now be used in one location without interference, due to user frequency management, powered by the unique Phonak digital synthesizer technology.

With the TV Ears infrared wireless headset system, you can capture movie theater-quality sound from your television without annoying others nearby who may be sleeping, reading or watching the same television program.
